Nike, the number one manufacturer of footwear and apparel, has become a household name on the same level as worldwide companies such as Sony and McDonalds. Nike was founded in 1964 by track coaches and runners Bill Bowerman and Philip Knight as Blue Ribbon Sports, later becoming Nike in 1978. The name Nike was chosen in reference to the greek goddess of victory.

Nike, Inc is all about diversity, individuality, and staying active. Nike makes athletic apparel from infants to elderly and a wide variety of sports gear. 

Further into the blog I will discuss the Nike company and Nike from a business view.
